Tech Industry Leader Richard Nottenburg Joins Theatro Board of Directors

Dallas, TX, January 7 – Theatro, a technology start-up that is defining the enterprise wearable market and transforming overall productivity of indoor mobile employees, announced today that Richard N. Nottenburg, PhD has joined Theatro’s Board of Directors. Dr. Nottenburg brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership in technology development and business strategy.

Dr. Nottenburg, currently an investor in early stage technology companies including Theatro, previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Sonus Networks, Inc. from June 2008 through October 2010. From July 2004 until May 2008, Dr. Nottenburg was an officer with Motorola, Inc., ultimately serving as its Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Nottenburg is currently a member of the boards of directors of PMC Sierra , Inc., Verint Systems, Inc., and Aeroflex Corporation.

Nottenburg earned three degrees in electrical engineering - a doctorate from the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland, a master's degree from Colorado State University and a bachelor's degree from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
