Neiman Marcus Launches Voice-Controlled Wearables for Better Communication

Neiman Marcus Last Call Stores are deploying voice-controlled wearables to help spur better communication within its luxury fashion retail operation.

The Theatro technology, according to a release, is also in play with The Container Stores and Cabela’s and a dozen other national retailers. It aims to help streamline operations, boost customer service and improve staff efficiency, according to the release.

“Using the Theatro system has allowed us to increase our in store productivity and execution,” Kristi Allison,VP of Last Call Stores,  said in the release. “The solution has significantly streamlined store communication and improved our customer service. In addition to reducing time spent communicating between associates, we are also using the solution to improve the in store experience for customers by locating desired product quickly and efficiently.”
