Chris is responsible for leading Theatro’s overall direction, strategy, and growth. Chris is a “roll up your sleeves” type leader who is passionate about the strategy of a business. Chris believes that most every idea can be a winner…it’s all about figuring out the strategy angles to drive success! As a co-founder, Chris has been instrumental in guiding Theatro from an early innovative concept into a fast-paced growth company.
Chris has 25+ years of experience in senior executive positions with small start-ups and large multinationals in a diverse array of industries, including software, networking and apps for leading hardware and software companies including Cisco Systems, AppTrigger, Metaswitch, Extreme Networks and Newbridge Networks.
Often the man behind the scenes, Patrick is an incredibly valuable member of our founding team thanks to his knack for bringing a sense of order to chaos. Driven by his passion to “organize the world”, Patrick is responsible for leading all Operational functions at Theatro.
Patrick has over 15 years of broad experience in various high-tech fields including Telecom, Data Networking and Cloud Computing. Patrick has held a variety of sales, operations and marketing leadership roles for established as well as start-up companies including Metaswitch, AppTrigger, Siemens, Efficient Networks and Compaq.
Ravi is well known in the technology development community as someone who will never back away from a challenge. Ravi has a passion for leading his team by showing them the way…never asking someone to do something he is not prepared to do himself.
Ravi brings more than 15 years of startup experience and thought leadership in designing and developing highly scalable cloud-based solutions for some of today’s most demanding environments. As a co-founder of Theatro, Ravi is responsible for our overall solution architecture, managing the day-to-day development team activities and leading our key innovation projects. Prior to Theatro, he held senior R&D leadership positions at Kodiak Networks, Rapid5 Networks and Ishoni Networks and holds multiple US patents.
Kimberley is passionate about creating dynamic customer experiences through innovative technologies. She is an accomplished marketing strategist with expertise in product and channel management, as well as a rich understanding of customer-focused digital marketing, demand generation and sales enablement programs.
Most recently, Kimberley served as the VP of Marketing for Waterfield Technologies where she drove go-to-market strategies for multiple brands, including VoiceFoundry and Blueworx, along with business development and channel partner programs. In addition, she has driven corporate strategy, marketing communications and product innovation and marketing for several Cloud and Contact Center focused organizations including Estech Systems Inc, Fonality, Convergys, Intervoice and Voyant Technologies. Notably, she played a pivotal role in building a scalable, extensible warehouse automation platform that was acquired by Shopify for $500M. She has partnered with Founder/CEOs to translate ambitious business objectives into actionable product visions and strategic roadmaps.
Gillan’s extensive domain expertise includes e-commerce, retail, supply chain, AI-backed products, and robotics, making her an influential leader in product development and strategy. She has successfully built Product Management organizations from the ground up, implemented core PM methodologies, and led cross-functional teams with a focus on results-driven, customer-first solutions. Based in Boston, Gillan is immersing herself in Theatro’s culture and technology and spends significant time at the company’s headquarters in Richardson as she leads the product team into its next phase of innovation and growth.
Matt is a highly experienced sales leader, with a broad international background in the software industry. Matt embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, having collaborated with start-ups at various development phases to create effective sales and customer success divisions.
His recently served as the Director of Global Sales at Altia where he was instrumental in building a new vertical's sales team and market entry strategy. With over two decades in the field, Matt's career portfolio also includes significant roles at Ivanti and Cherwell. Additionally, he shares his knowledge and insights as a Business Mentor at Exponential Impact, guiding emerging entrepreneurs from the seed to Series A stages of their business growth.
Amy is passionate about the Frontline worker and their success. Amy’s background is rooted in retail operations with over 14 years of experience ranging from retail management with Crate & Barrel to owner and operator of her own business. Since joining Theatro, Amy has had the opportunity to partner with top retailers across North America in identifying and solutioning communication and operational challenges in support of the frontline workers’ success.
With over 15 years of global experience in corporate leadership and Big Four consulting, Denis Zub commands an unparalleled breadth of financial acumen across industries, cultures, and organizations of all sizes. His diverse background — from serving as CFO to business analyst, auditor, and consultant on complex international ventures — positions him as a dynamic leader, capable of navigating and reshaping complex financial landscapes.
Denis is an expert in finance, economics, strategy, budgeting, investments, and business analysis, complemented by a deep understanding of pricing strategies. Known for his ability to develop and implement financial models, business processes, and management control systems, Denis also excels in productivity improvements and change management.

Based in Dallas, Mr. Jaggers has been a General Partner of Sevin Rosen Funds, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on high technology businesses, since 1989. In that role, he has been an investing General Partner, the firm’s Administrative General Partner, and, most recently, Managing General Partner since 2006.
Before joining Sevin Rosen, Mr. Jaggers was an investment banker, working with small, rapidly growing technology companies, and, before that, was a software developer. Mr. Jaggers currently serves on the Board of FourthWall Media, a provider of software and data services for the cable television industry, and has in the past served on numerous public and private company boards. He is the immediate past Chair of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, where he continues to serve on the Board, and is an Emeritus Trustee of Rice University, where he served as a Trustee from 2011-2015. He is Chair of the George R. Brown School of Engineering Advisory Board at Rice, and served on the Board of the National Venture Capital Association from 2006-2010.
Judith M. (Judy) O’Brien is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group of King & Spalding and leads the firm’s Emerging Company practice. She has over 35-years of experience working with technology companies during their critical stages of development, providing a broad array of legal services. She has incorporated hundreds of technology companies, including Sun Microsystems, LSI Logic and Juniper Networks, and served as their principal outside general counsel as they grew from a start-up to Fortune 500 status. From November 2006 through December 2010, Ms. O’Brien served as executive vice president and general counsel of Obopay, Inc., a provider of mobile payment services. From February 2001 until October 2006, Ms. O’Brien served as a managing director at Incubic Venture Fund, a venture capital firm. Ms. O’Brien was a lawyer with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where, from February 1984 to February 2001, she was a partner specializing in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Mr. Desai is a partner at CPMG, Inc. CPMG is an investment firm that employs a concentrated, value-oriented approach to investing in publicly traded and private operating companies. Prior to joining CPMG’s predecessor, Cardinal Investment Company, Mr. Desai worked as an analyst at WhiteHorse Capital Partners, L.P. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation, Theatro Labs, Inc., ESN Venture Holdings LLC, Lifeblue Incorporated, and Travel Research Advisors LLC.
Previously responsible for driving all Palo Alto Networks’ direct and indirect sales engagement activities in the Americas ($1.8B, 70% of all sales), as a Board member John utilizes his sales and go-to-market expertise to help drive Theatro’s growth. Before joining Palo Alto Networks, he served as Vice President of Avaya’s Global Channel organization where he was responsible for leading the customer-focused and partner-engaged go-to-market strategy for Avaya’s global sales and channel organization. Prior to Avaya, John held senior theater-level positions with direct and channel leadership roles at Cisco, Extreme Networks, and Redback Networks, which was acquired by Ericsson. John has over 35 years of technology sales leadership experience across multiple industry verticals and is currently an independent sales/GTM advisor. He sits on the board of Cherwell software (a KKR-funded SaaS growth company) and supports several other growth companies for LLR (a mid-market private growth equity firm) and independently.
Dean Nelson joined Sageview in 2014 and is based in Greenwich. He currently serves on the board of 360insights, Aceable, Brandwatch, CallRail, Theatro, and Womply. He is a former director at Reflexis.
From 2000 through 2013, Mr. Nelson was founder and head of KKR Capstone, an operating team focused on improving performance in KKR’s portfolio companies and providing late stage due diligence support to KKR’s investment teams. In addition to leading KKR Capstone, Dean served as CEO and President of Primedia Inc. and as Head of Worldwide Operations and Technology at First Data Corp. He also served on KKR’s Portfolio Committee. In addition, he has been a member of several boards of directors, including Del Monte Corporation, Dollar General Corporation, Primedia Inc., Sealy Corporation, Toys “R” Us Inc. and Yellow Pages Group.
Prior to KKR, Dean was a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group for 15 years, serving as a Partner and head of the firm’s Chicago office.

Christina Van Houten is a veteran of the enterprise technology industry, having spent two decades with some of the world’s largest firms, including Oracle, IBM and Infor Global Solutions as well as Netezza and ProfitLogic, the entrepreneurial companies that were acquired by them. She’s also been involved as an advisory board member of emerging technology firms in the retail analytics, next‐generation communication wearables, and mobile banking platform spaces.
Currently, Christina is Chief Strategy Officer for Mimecast, a leading enterprise technology firm focused on cybersecurity. In her role, Christina leads M&A, Corporate Development, Product Management, and Market Strategy as part of building out the leading security and resilience platform engineered to protect businesses around the globe.
Prior to evolving into the technology sector, Christina was an apparel manufacturer for a women’s athleisure line and spent her younger years focused on public interest work with The John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, DC City Government, US Treasury Department, and several political campaigns. She recently created a new resource platform called Women@Work that includes several books, a mentor matching program, and other initiatives, all dedicated to the economic advancement and self‐reliance of women and girls around the world.
David is our longest serving Advisory Board member and has been working with Theatro since the early days. David has nearly twenty years working with retail executive leadership, operating management, corporate and regional support teams and front-line associates building capabilities and improving business performance. Prior to his work with Theatro, David held roles as Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen’s Senn-Delaney retail practice and has been a partner with several boutique consultancies where he has worked with multinational retailers, private equity firms, suppliers and vendors on discovery, development, testing and large-scale implementation of people, process and technology driven initiatives across channels and business functions.
David has spent his entire career working with retailers to harness the power of predictive analytics to improve merchandising, planning, supply chain and store operations. David understands the importance and the impact of analytics on the day-to-day retail operations to make better-informed decisions to help grow the business. Currently, David is Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Quri, a retail intelligence and analytics company. Prior to Quri, David has held a variety of Retail Industry leadership roles at Market6, IBM, Netezza, Oracle and Accenture.
Transient (Tran) Taylor most recently became CPO at Bumble in May, 2020. Prior to Bumble, Tran was EVP and CHRO for Blucora and Mr. Cooper and Chief People Officer (CPO) for Travelocity. At Bumble, he is responsible for all human capital planning and leading human resource initiatives for the global enterprise and serving on the executive leadership team. His career experience spans leading within large corporate structures, divisional operating units, to smaller start-up environments.
Over the past twenty five years, and most recently as Chief People Officer at Bumble, Tran has been instrumental in the design, implementation and execution of HR and People & Culture initiatives in dynamic, high-growth business environments. Tran has focused his career on transforming human resources departments from staff functions to strategic business partners, driving business acumen, transformational change and mastery of critical leadership competencies throughout the HR organization to best serve the business’s strategy. Key accomplishments include Board-level and Compensation Committee accountability, leading enterprise-wide change efforts, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions. At Alliance Data, he was recognized for creating a “Best Place to Learn” by the American Society for Training and Development as a result of developing Leadership Academies for the enterprise. In multiple years Travelocity was recognized as a “Best Place to Work” in San Antonio, TX and Wilkes-Barre, PA.
John is currently a Managing Director at Bowen Advisors, a mergers & acquisitions and strategic advisory firm focused on growth technology companies, where he leads the firm’s communications, mobile and SaaS practice areas. Prior to Bowen Advisors, John spent 14 years in various technology companies, including Brooktrout Technology, SnowShore Networks, NMS Communications and Lotus Development Corp, where he served in senior marketing, business and corporate development roles.

Ed Zander has spent more than 35 years in the technology sector. He has played a key role in shaping some of the major paradigm shifts in technology that impact the world today. These include the move from mainframes to minicomputers; minicomputers to workstations; PCs to networking and to the internet; hardware to software; and the revolution in wireless devices and mobility.
Ed was most recently chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Motorola. During his four-year tenure, he made the RAZR the best-selling cell phone in history and reshaped Motorola’s image worldwide with the popular “Hello Moto” campaign. During his four years the company doubled its revenue and achieved double digit earnings for the first time in over a decade.
Prior to Motorola, Ed was president and chief operating officer of Sun Microsystems until 2002. During his 15 years at the company, he grew Sun to $18 billion in revenues; established the company as number one in the server market; and built it into the pre- eminent supplier of network software infrastructure with Solaris and Java.
Before Sun, Ed worked at Apollo Computer as VP of Marketing and Data General in a number of marketing and engineering positions.
Ed was also managing director at Silver Lake Partners, in 2003 a leading private equity fund, and has served on the board of directors for several technology companies.
Today he is a director of Seagate Technology and NetSuite Inc. and is an investor and board member of early stage companies. Ed also served as chairman of the Technology CEO Council in Washington D.C. and has been on a number of civic and philanthropic boards. Ed is a member of the Board of Trustees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
